Everyone dreams of quitting their job, getting rid of their stuff and hopping on the first plane to the south of France right?

Well I did just that.

After nearly eight years as a broadcast news producer  for The BBC in Washington, DC I decided it was now or never.

I rented my condo, sold all of my belongings and boarded a flight to the rest of my life.

This is the story, with some travel tips I’ve picked up along the way.

    • hm. Lots too see! I haven’t spent too much time there (yet) but have visited Brazil a good amount and I absolutely adore it. Rio, Bahia, Salvador, its all wonderful and I would highly recommend a trip.
