Today’s Tip: The boundary Roof top, Shoreditch
London is known for its grey, drizzly weather, but when the sun does come out the city is dazzling and a peaceful rooftop bar is the perfect place to enjoy a balmy evening.
The Boundary, one of Terence Conran’s projects, is a beautiful boutique hotel with three restaurants and an adorable British food shop all built in a Victorian warehouse.
The roof top restaurant and bar is stylish and relaxed, the outdoor area has tables and couches for lounging and a fire pit for extra warmth.
The indoor restaurant area has a modern beach house feel with wooden and canvas director’s chairs, comfy, pillow strewn wicker couches and glass walls with optimal views of East London.
The ceiling is covered in climbing jasmine and grapevines that fill the room with a gorgeous floral scent.
Prices are a bit high – it is a trendy rooftop bar in Shoreditch after all – but the setting is stunning and it’s a lovely spot spend a warm night with a cocktail.
Heading to London in September. Thx
You’ll have a fantastic time Margaret! London is one of my favorite places.
